Fluently speaking 3 languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish) and
with reasonable knowledge of two other languages (German and Italian),

Auto-parts and Woodworking Machinery areas, besides working as an
Independent Consultant, since 1991, for Manufacturers of Household
Appliances, Machines, Jewelry, Food Importers /Exporters and for Fashion
Businesses as well.
Having lived and studied abroad for sometime, he frequently attends
trade fairs in Brasil and abroad, professionally supporting companies,
which wish to successfully participate in the International Market.
With an experience of more than 20 years in the International Area,
Celso has also been dedicating a great deal of his time to acquire
experience in Strategic Planning and in Supporting Community Development
Projects.
During his career he worked as Marketing and Export Manager for two
Multinationals in Brazil, and during four years he managed a Community
Foundation type organization dedicated to quality of life improvement
through economical development, while simultaneously working for another
NGO that is committed to implementing Quality projects, mainly Total
Quality on Education, in schools located in Limeira and nearby communities.
During this period of more than four years, which ended in the second
semester of 2001, Celso was able to help design and implement projects
that tremendously contributed to foster an open mentality, stimulating
Quality procedures and entrepreneurship among youngsters. Examples
of such projects are the International Seminar on Quality on Education,
which Celso helped organize and managed during four years, a gathering
of 1000 public and private school teachers who, during 3 days, attended
lectures given by experts on quality on education and other disciplines,
such as pedagogy, psychology and management. This seminar, this year
on its 9th edition, counted on the presence of both Brazilian and
foreign experts who lectured to the Teachers.
In 1998, sponsored by The Ford Foundation, Celso traveled to the United
States in order to visit Community Foundations in Michigan and learn
about fund raising tactics and procedures. He spent one full week
visiting private and Community Foundations located in the state of
Michigan, including The W. K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek,
The Ford Foundation, and Community Foundations in Kalamazoo, Muskegon,
New Holland and Grand Heaven, where he spent some learning time with
the Council of Michigan Foundations.
Celso has also been a promoter, fund raiser and advisor for the Junior
Achievement Program, a partnership between public school and private
companies, sponsored and monitored by one of the Community Foundations
formerly managed by Celso, which, counting on the support of volunteers
and businesses, teaches the basics of business and ethics to elementary
school children. Every year the NGO offers the program to more than
700 students. And, not to forget, Celso, through the two NGO’s,
helped design and implement projects in waste recycling, environment
protection, small business financing and management, etc..
Successfully established as an independent consultant in the Strategic
Planning and International Trade / Marketing areas since 1991, Celso
is also a volunteer in his Community, having managed, for 8 years
(1994 – 2002), an Orphanage / Foster home for boys aged 2 through
12, besides cooperating with NGO’s that support cancer patients
and handicapped children .
